Want to get away from it all this weekend? This magnificent video of The Witcher in 8K with a lot of mods will enchant you because the result is magical.
The Witcher 3 is almost ten years old, but it is in no way inferior to newer graphics standards. This is thanks in particular to the next-gen patch and the love of the modding community. Here’s an excellent illustration in 8k, courtesy of Digital Dreams.
The Witcher 3 never stops enchanting us
Despite its age, The Witcher 3 remains a timeless masterpiece. The open world conceived by CD Projekt RED does not lack poetry thanks to the beautiful art direction. On a technical level, the title has remained up to date, especially thanks to the next-gen patch for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. This update has significantly improved the quality of already high-quality textures and, most importantly, implemented ray tracing.
In addition, modders continue to lovingly work to make it even more beautiful. We have a perfect example of this with this video from the YouTube channel Digital Dreams. Equipped with over a hundred mods and the proprietary Beyond All Limits ReShade, the PC version of the game looks absolutely gorgeous. Not to spoil anything: the video was recorded in 8K at 60 frames per second to obtain an image of impeccable clarity.
A great trip, but not cheap
However, to achieve such a result, you must have an extremely muscular configuration. An RTX 4090 graphics card is definitely essential (and terribly expensive). Incidentally, Digital Dreams states that the machine used has a Ryzen 9 7950x, 32 GB DDR5 6000 MHz RAM and a powerful M.2 NVMe SSD. Such a PC is obviously not affordable for everyone.
However, that doesn’t stop us from enjoying this journey in the company of Geralt, quite the opposite!
