The good news: Wolf Among Us 2 has resumed active development.
LCG Entertainment, which conducts business under the name of Telltale, confirmed in gaming awards The wolf among us 2 Under development again.
Telltale has partnered with AdHoc Studio, a former Telltale Games employee, to resume the second season of the game and co-develop it.
Returning developers include directors Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart. And writer Pierre Shorette. There are also voice actors, Adam Harrington as Bigby, and Irene Yvette as Snow White. Composer Jared Emerson-Johnson is also back. Former Telltale Game VP of Engineering Zac Litton has joined the new team's CTO.
In August, LCG Entertainment acquired the assets and post-category rights of Telltale Games, which included license rights to certain properties of Telltale Games.
The second quarter was announced at SDCC 2017 and will be released on Mac, PC, game consoles and mobile devices by the end of 2018. It was then postponed to 2019 before Telltale faced financial problems.
The game will initially be released on PCs and consoles as an exclusive Epic Games Store product.
