Currently, everything indicates that Platinum Games will actually reissue the Wii-U classic The Wonderful 101. But not just for the switch.

Only a few of the good Wii-U games lack a port for the switch. In addition to Super Mario 3D World and Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101 is one of the titles that could ultimately shine through the larger audience of the Switch. For a long time now there have been minor indications that Platinum Games is interested in a new edition. With the latest information, chances are better than ever. But apparently the Japanese developer is using crowdfunding.
Kickstarter thing for TW101 is true. I waited for Platinum to announce it on their terms. The reveal was set for Monday.

Gamexplain claims to have learned that Platinum plans to implement The Wonderful 101 via Kickstarter, not just for the Switch, but also for the PlayStation 4. According to a post on 4chan, Xbox One itself is to be considered. At least for the first two platforms, Gamexplain can confirm this information through an anonymous source. The crowdfunding campaign for this should go online today. The reason for this step is a rejection of the port by Nintendo and other publishers.
It also fits that Platinum Games has already set up a profile on Kickstarter, but so far without having set a single project. An official tweet showing game director Hideki Kamiya is also very suspicious. Behind him, the time 1:01 on October 10 (October 10) can be seen on a screen. There is also a switch on the table next to him. It will probably not be a coincidence.
