Platinum Games has released a new trailer for The Wonderful 101 Remastered, a title that will arrive in Europe on May 22, after successfully completing its financing campaign. The original title of Wii U will not only arrive improved to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC, but it will also have new content.
Among the highlights, highlights a 2D minigame called Luka’s First Mission, a small adventure "starring a young hero" for which no additional details are known and which will continue with a second 2D minigame called Luka’s Second Mission.
The Wonderful 101: Remastered will also feature a soundtrack with remixes of the original themes with an undisclosed special guest. Likewise, the title will include orchestral re-recordings of the tracks "The Won-Stoppable Wonderful 100" and "Tables Turn".
The success of The Wonderful 101 Remastered will lead to the making or not of a sequel that Platinum Games wants to develop. Meanwhile, the studio has announced Project GG, which will be part of the "heroic trilogy" that manager Kamiya had in mind when he started working on Viewtiful Joe and continued with The Wonderful 101.
