Sony has detailed the free gifts up for grabs for PS5 players this month as part of its PlayStation Stars loyalty program.
Whether you like fighting games, RPGs, VR games, or just digital collectibles, here’s all the goodies you can get for free on PS5 this month. However, remember that you must be a member of the PlayStation Stars program to benefit from it.
There are lots of small gifts to collect for free on the PS5 in May
For fighting game fans
Sony is celebrating the legendary EVO fighting game tournament in its 2024 edition by encouraging PS5 players to indulge in the fight. It is now possible to collect the Road to EVO 2024 digital trophy by playing the following games:
- Guilty Gear -Strive-
- The King of Fighters XV
- Mortal Kombat 1
- Tekken 8
For role-playing fans
The PlayStation Stars program is also inviting PS5 players to role-play from May 7th to win a tarot card featuring a particularly scary-looking cowboy. Here are the games affected by this offer:
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
- Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Cleared His Name
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Payday 3
For PS4 nostalgics
To remind PS5 players of the golden age of the PS4, from May 15th it will be possible to restore the black PS4 Pro in digital format by playing games from the previous generation of consoles on the current generation. There is no specific list of games here, as long as they d isplay the icon indicating that it is the PS4 version.
Relax before summer
Finally, starting May 15, the PlayStation Stars program will offer the opportunity to collect the digital collectible Pouf, the fluffy sheep, through relaxing games. The following securities are affected by the offer:
- Open streets
- Melatonin
- Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure
- Mystic Pillars – Remastered
