Season 2 of House of the Dragon won’t be too long in coming: The Targaryen vs. Hightowers battle will enter the next round in June 2024; there is currently no specific release date.
The second trailer is in the starting blocks
But it could be revealed very soon – tomorrow, to be exact. Because HBO has officially announced that a new trailer will debut this Thursday, March 21st. A handful of fresh posters are already preparing for this.
They show both sides fighting for the Iron Throne and thus rule over the seven kingdoms in House of the Dragon: Team Black (Rhaenyra, Daemon, Rhaenys Targaryen and Corlys Velaryon) against Team Green (Alicent Hightower, Aemond, Aegon Targaryen und Ser Criston Cole).

By the way, the first trailer for House of the Dragon: Season 2 was released in December 2023. Now HBO should slowly but surely ramp up the marketing carousel before the new episodes start in June – in Europey again on Sky and Wow.
