Pacific Drive comes with an unusual survival concept: In a zone infested with anomalies, you not only have to survive alone, your car mustn’t give up the ghost either. To prevent this from happening, you gradually improve the old station wagon. The new trailer shows how comprehensive the tuning is. You can watch it right here:

Pacific Drive: The new trailer shows the comprehensive tuning system in the survival game
Half the cart is disassembled
Hardly one car part is left on top of the other in the trailer: doors are removed, tires are changed and bonnets are rebuilt. We get the materials for the equipment on the street, in the middle of the zone
. There we can be content with spare parts thanks to abandoned car wrecks. But the dangerous anomalies are apparently just waiting for the right moment to strike.
During the course of the trailer we also see different zone environments such as the bright green lake covered in fog – so our trips through the zone also seem to be quite varied.
At minute 2:43 we finally see what a mass of improvements will be available in Pacific Drive. At the end, the rusty station wagon is almost unrecognizable.
In contrast to the gloomy first trailer, the new video looks much more awake thanks to the relaxed music. If you want to watch the first trailer, all you have to do is lower your eyes slightly:

What is Pacific Drive about anyway?
You are in the Olympic Exclusion Zone in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Aggressive anomalies haunt the place, you have to constantly improve your trusty station wagon on individual trips through the zone in order not to give up the spoon. In your garage you can add found components to your vehicle and plan the next trip.
The single-player survival game is also supposed to tell a story, but little is known about it so far. We already spoke to the developers about their game, you can find the interview in the following article:
