E3 returns this year as an on-site live event. Many major publishers have already announced that they will not be attending the fair – but Ubisoft is an exception.
The French gaming giant is apparently planning a grand entrance. As a Insider reveals, the games that will be shown there should already be fixed. Among them is a big single player surprise.
Here’s what you can expect from Ubisoft at E3
As well-known insider Tom Henderson reports, Ubisoft’s line-up for what used to be the most important gaming event of the year is already set.
A total of nine unreleased games are said to be shown:
- Assassin’s Creed Mirage (New single-player offshoot of the series that wants to return to old strengths)
- Assassin’s Creed Nexus (A VR spin-off where you play as Altair, Ezio, and other popular assassins)
- The Division Heartland (New Free2Play title in the universe of the popular third-person shooter)
- XDefiant (multiplayer shooter with factions and characters from other Ubisoft titles)
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (First-Person-Action-Adventure im Avatar-Universum)
- Skull & Bones (pirate open world plagued by many development issues)
- The Crew: Motorfest (Latest installment in the racing game series)
- Just Dance 2024 (dance game for various consoles)
- Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope DLC (The tactical game gets new content via DLC)
Insider gaming also wants to know which games we probably won’t see at E3:

A neglected series is to be revived
Even if the E3 line-up reads quite predictable, there should still be a big surprise. Specifically, Insider Gaming claims that a neglected single-player series is to be revived.
Aside from claiming that this is definitely not Rayman, Insider Gaming can’t reveal any details. So which series could come into question?
- Prince of Persia: The action-adventure series hasn’t had a new game since 2010, the remake of the popular Sands of Time hasn’t been heard from for what feels like an eternity.

- Brothers in Arms: The shooter series, in which you command a squad of soldiers, has also been on hold for 15 years now.
- Heroes of Might & Magic: The third part of the strategy series in particular still has many fans today. Eight years have passed since the last part of the series.
- Might & Magic: The old-school role-playing and strategy games celebrated huge successes in the nineties, but the last offshoot Might & Magic 10 was also ten years ago.
- Driver: The GTA competitor hasn’t been heard from for a long time either. The last game in the series was a Free2Play game for smartphones released in 2014.
