In just over a year that new generation consoles have been on the market, we have seen them in all shapes and colors. So much PS5 and Xbox Series X have lent themselves to all kinds of modifications, especially Sony’s for its lack of interchangeable covers, something that is already on the way.
However, right now one can only imagine having the models of both made in … LEGO blocks. That’s right, the two systems have been recreated in this format thanks to the work of BrickinNick, which has used LEGO Ideas. It is a company platform that allows the sharing and dissemination of new ideas for sets of blocks.
Both the Xbox Series X and PS5 have been recreated in 1: 1 scale, despite the difficulties involved in recreating some curves and angles. As a curious detail, he has added several figures inside the two, so they can be easily opened to introduce what we want.
What’s more, their projects go further with a DualSense and an Xbox controller also built with LEGO blocks. They have supports to place them as an exhibition; in the case of the DualSense, it lights up and in the case of the Xbox, it also has a compartment for the battery. Of course, none of them are functional, of course.
Total needs 10,000 supports for each console and thus be eligible to become an official LEGO set. At this time, it has about 400 on Xbox Series X Y over 800 for the PS5.
