Chorus – test video for the space hit
As already revealed, the space hit Chorus won the prize for the best Europe game. With 100,000 dollars in prize money, this is the most valuable award given by the DCP. The two other nominated games, the development game Endzone and the adventure Lacuna, received 30,000 dollars.
What is that, actually? The action game from the Hamburg studio Fishlabs was already well received in our test. We only had to blame the game for being a bit short in the end.
In Chorus you compete in a single-player campaign in racy space battles that keep increasing in difficulty. But you also experience a story with an amazing amount of depth about the pilot Nara, who is on the hunt for malicious cultists.
All the more gratifying for Micha and Fritz, who have just raved about space games in the podcast:

Best International Game
In addition to Europe productions, two international games are also recognized every year at the DCP. Elden Ring won Best International Game in 2022, which is no big surprise. After all, the new game from the Souls makers was able to fully convince almost all international critics. Apart from a few technical problems, our test was also very positive.
