Two great little Xbox exclusive titles are coming soon to PS5, but also to other media at the same time. The opportunity for everyone to discover them, they are honestly not bad at all.
ID@Xbox (or Xbox ID), you know? It’s an initiative that allows certain small studios to get a little help in developing their game on PC and Xbox Series, at least in terms of the overall visibility part. This allowed us to discover many little wonders or fascinating games. Most of them start as Xbox exclusives and therefore only appear on the company’s consoles and on the PC. But sometimes it happens that these exclusive articles end up in other media after a while. This is the case today with two small nuggets! We’re a long way from the last major Xbox exclusives announced for PS5, but these two titles aren’t lacking in arguments.
Two small Xbox exclusives are coming to other platforms, including the PS5!
One is a poetic and visually enchanting platform puzzle game, while the second is more of a slightly dark metroidvania. Planet of Lana and The Last Case of Benedict Fox coming to new platforms very soon! Note to fans: If the games have some flaws, they are atypical enough to pique your curiosity and are clearly worth a look. After months of waiting, these two games will very soon leave their Xbox exclusive status, as announced for both games some time ago.
The Last Case of Benedict Fox is coming to PS5 in March
The Last Case of Benedict Fox was one of ID@Xbox’s sensational games before it was blown away upon release. A unique Metroidvania with an art direction and a super interesting universe. Unfortunately, upon its exclusive release on Xbox and PC, the game lacks precision in gameplay and all is not rosy. Since then it has improved and offers a very pleasant experience. The Last Case of Benedict Fox remains a very nice little nugget to take with you on the go. The game will be released in a Definitive Edition on March 26th on PS5 packed with new content. Additionally, PC and Xbox Series players are not forgotten as the update will also be available for them. All right, don’t sulk.
Planet of Lana, a little poetry on PlayStation and Nintendo Switch
A true little visual marvel, Planet of Lana is the second formerly Xbox-exclusive game to be made available to other media. A puzzle-filled platform game where you play as a young girl trying to find her loved ones in a world full of disasters. A journey full of enchanting paintings, carried by a gentle and poetic artistic direction, but which will not lack spice when needed. Behind its pretty face, Planet of Lana also hides an apocalyptic story in which, on the contrary, not everything is candy pink. Like Benedict Fox, Planet of Lana will be released from April 16th on PS5, but also on PS4 and Nintendo Switch (by the way, it runs perfectly on this machine).
