Two French players were banned from a tournament for technical abuse…
If you like fighting video games and love the world of Akira Toriyama, you are definitely in love Dragon Ball: Talking Zero at the time of its release a few weeks ago. It has to be said that the latter is particularly pretty and uses a very inspired system Dragon Ball Tenkaichithe license reference. After the great success of the video game, the organization has already started Tournaments between players. But unfortunately, Some techniques are not very fair…
Earlier, Two French players had fun exploiting a particularly unfair technique in the middle of the tournament. To summarize, they played cyborgs like C-19 because the latter had a minimum Ki of infinity, and charged up or down at full speed. This type of move aims to absolutely dodge almost all enemy blows, but usually cannot be performed indefinitely as it consumes Ki. However, by capturing the cyborgs it is possible to dodge almost all hits indefinitely, making the game unfair. The two French players therefore used this technique during a tournament and waited for the end of time to win all their games. Behavior that got them completely banned from the tournament as soon as the organizers got wind of it.
But Japanese players who do the same continue to participate!
But the real problem with this story (aside from the fact that this type of technique should be toned down to avoid future problems) is that not all players may be judged equally. Actually, a few days ago, A player and streamer took part in the Japanese branch of the tournament and realized that his opponents were using the famous unfair technique.
He then videotaped the fight and sent the evidence to the official Discord so his opponents could be banned. However, The organizers have seen the reports and appear to have decided to ignore the issue, believing that if the technique is actually in play it can be used. A decision that seems completely unfair and makes the situation even more problematic. Many players say that they are disappointed and believe that they will not participate in tournaments until this technique is officially banned, or even better, until it is completely removed from the game. It remains to be seen whether Bandai Namco will respond on their side as to whether things need to be regulated in the rules of the various tournaments.
