A little message for players who have subscribed to PS Plus Extra or Premium. You only have a few days left to try these games before they are removed from the catalog.
The same refrain every month. Sony first announces the trio of games and makes them available to all PS Plus subscribers from the first Tuesday of the month. A few weeks later, the Japanese company presents the new additions to the catalog of Extra and Premium formulas before they arrive the following Tuesday. In January 2024, those subscribed to the service’s new offerings will be able to discover some great new features, like the excellent Resident Evil 2 Remake or the completely insane romp of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. As always, these new additions are also accompanied by publications. Here are the 9 games that will disappear from PS Plus Extra and Premium.
9 games leave PS Plus Extra and Premium
Only a few days left until the release of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games. Starting Tuesday, January 16, always around 11 a.m., members of the service will be able to play 9 new productions at no additional cost. The program in January 2024 includes a looter shooter, skateboarding, vampires, zombies, survival, LEGOs or even a giant sandbox. January 2024 should cover all player profiles again. However, just as many productions will leave the PS Plus Extra catalog on the same day. Including a real must-have that shaped 2021: It Takes Two. Josef Fares’ cooperative game has established itself as one of the biggest surprises of recent years and you still have a few days left to take someone on the adventure and discover this nugget together.
Another headliner of these releases in the PS Plus Extra catalog is Devil May Cry 5 in its PS4 and PS5 versions. Remember that the Special Edition, reserved for the next generation console, includes gameplay adjustments and new features, including the ability to play as Vergil and take part in extreme challenges. Those who fell in love with Baldur’s Gate 3 still have some time to test Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition, an excellent CRPG developed by the leaders of the genre: Obsidian Entertainment. And for the rest? Here are all the games leaving PS Plus Extra on January 16, 2024:
