After the first full year of operation of the Epic Games Store, some good numbers have been discovered.

Epic released a statistical summary highlighting Epic Game StoreLooking back on 2019. The store attracted 108 million customers in 2019, and those customers spent a total of $ 680 million.

Of this, $ 251 million was spent on third-party games and DLC, with most of the funds going to Fortnite. More interestingly, the $ 251 million figure did not take into account Epic's subsidies, such as coupons and developer funding. In other words, $ 251 million is actual developer revenue.

Although Epic did not disclose the ranking of best performers, it did confirm many of the familiar names. World War I, Borderlands 3, Division 2, Control, Metro Exodus, Outside World, Fearless, Satisfactory, and even Untitled Goose Games are some of the biggest winners.

Epic gave away 73 free games in 2019, of which more than 200 million copies were requested by players. Weekly free games promotion will continue in 2020.
