A group of modders worked together to bring Bloodborne Curse tight gun parry FromSoftware Newest, Eldon Ring.
YouTuber and modder Garden of Eyes is teaming up with COTA Studios to create a mod that adds more gunplay than ever to The Lands Between, Eurogamer-discovered Bloodborne’s gun-parrying system. And another mod that adds some skins to our trusty torrent, and a third mod th at restores and reimagines some weapons.
If you haven’t played Curse of Blood or the joy of parrying a gun, allow us to explain.exist dark soul, you usually swing your shield at the right time to parry your opponent. Aside from a crappy shield, Bloodborne doesn’t really have any defensive options, but if you time your gunshots just right, you can stagger most enemies in the game.
Getting it right is a tough thing to do, but once you figure it out, it’s very satisfying, and while Elden Ring is mostly about wielding cool swords and magical spells, you can never go wrong with a little gunplay.
Apparently, there aren’t any guns in Elden Ring other than a special shield that has more canon on it than guns, so the system had to be built from scratch. Parries will work on enemies, bosses and even in PvP, although the mod is banned from online play, so watch out for that.
Right now, there’s only one gun to try, and you can try it out through Garden of Eyes’ Patreon, but it’s still impressive to get this right in the end. There are more guns and bullet types planned for the mod, though, so if it’s up your alley, be sure to keep an eye out for it.
Skin wiser for Torrents is that there are two new whistles to use, one that summons a dragon sentry horse and another that summons a knight cavalry horse, with other skins planned to be added as well.
As far as weapons go, some models are made entirely from scratch, and there are even some custom animations and attacks. Some boss weapons have also been redesigned so that they attack more like the bosses themselves.
