No manipulation is required, the offer is automatically activated for everyone who does not have an active PlayStation Plus subscription. The only and most logical requirement, otherwise it won’t work, is to have a valid PSN account and connect to the Internet. However, don’t expect access to the games offered this month, it’s just access to online multi- or co-op play, which is free for a few hours.

This is another way for Sony to promote its service after adding new providers thanks to Black Friday. It has been available in three formulas for over a year. The Essential, which only includes online play and the trio of games offered monthly, the Extra, which adds a catalog of games in the style of Xbox Game Pass, and finally the Premium, which also includes a number of classics from the old PlayStation consoles and tests contains several hours of current productions.

This free PS Plus weekend is therefore just the right time for those who would like to jump into multiplayer games like EA FC 24, Call of Modern Warfare 3 or simply test out LEGO Fortnite.
