game news This FPS from EA replaces weapons with magic, a warrior trailer on PlayStation Showcase
We’re hearing slowly but surely from Immortals of Aveum: The New Franchise from Electronic Arts was present at last night’s PlayStation Showcase. Of course with a new trailer.
Forspoken FPS style
At a time when sequels, remakes, and other remasters are multiplying, we always welcome new franchises that represent some risk-taking in the video game landscape. Once, Immortals Of Aveum is directly supported by the Electronic Arts giant, who have entrusted Ascendant Studios to pilot this unique project. A studio made up of industry veterans who have worked on Halo, Bioshock or Call of Duty.
However, if Immortals Of Aveum is going to be strictly a war game, don’t expect to see AK-47s and other flashbangs. The title effectively establishes a fantasy world where two kingdoms compete for control of magic: an opportunity to create quite impressive battles, in which Jak, the hero, will take part with particular zeal.
Magic, full of magic
Therefore, from a subjective point of view, Immortals Of Aveum suggests engaging in a furious battle, with spells merging everywhere in a discharge of light effects that will make any strobe fade away.
In this way, three types of magic are constructed: blue magic corresponds to power, red magic to chaos, and green magic to life. Then it is possible to make combos, thwart enemy tactics and conquer the fieldsweat on the forehead.
To exhibit his gaming systems, Electronic Arts therefore chose the PlayStation Showcase last night to release a new trailer officially titled Gameplay Trailer. This can be found in our video player above.
Note that the software is labeled EA Originals planned on PlayStation 5 yes, but also on PC and Xbox Series on July 20th, 2023. Yes, it’s very fast.
