The GTA Remastered Trilogy has shown itself in a first gameplay trailer and everyone is talking about how GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas shine in new graphics. But we currently have to do without a GTA 4 remaster. All the more exciting is the current video by the graphic modder Digital Dreams, who gave GTA 4 a new look in an impressive 8K video.
GTA 4 in High-End-Grafik
The video from Digital Dreams shows nine minutes of game scenes with impressive graphics. It’s best to check it out for yourself! Remember to set the appropriate resolution when playing. In addition to the GTA 5 engine, new textures and ray tracing reshade, the traffic has also been realistically modded.

Of course, this feat requires appropriate hardware. The following components were worked with to get the insane graphics settings working:
- Mainboard: Asus Prime x470-Pro
- CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32Gb
- GPU: ASUS TUF RTX 3090
- SSD: Crucial mx500 2TB
In contrast to real ray tracing, in which the path of individual rays is calculated physically correctly, ray tracing reshade is a filter that simulates a comparable effect during post-processing.
Supporters of Digital Dreams can find the Reshade at Patreon-Account. The modder has, among other things, in the past Minecraft and Skyrim helped create terrific high-end graphics. That’s why we sat down with the Europe-speaking graphics expert and talked about how his impressive videos are created:
