The tone of the film needed to be similar…the character needed to mourn lost time and return after a five-year absence. The feature film follows the return of a man of great responsibility after a forced absence of five years. He had to mourn a time he couldn’t make up for. Grief occupied a large place in his life.
Instead, Wakanda Forever will focus on passing the torch with the successor to the Black Panther.
