THQ Nordic has released two videos showing Biological mutants Run on a new generation console.
The first video is PS5. On the console, the game will run at the original 1080p resolution of 60 FPS, and the dynamic resolution will be increased to 4k at 60 FPS.
According to THQ, information about the native version of PS5 will be shared “soon”, and the reason why the game cannot run in native 4k on PS5 is Due to technical reasons.
There is even a disclaimer in the video: “With this build, the native 4K option on PlayStation has been deactivated due to stability and performance-related reasons.”
In the Xbox Series X version, the game will run in native 4k with a dynamic resolution of 60 FPS. The video also has the following disclaimer: “This will not be the current original experience. However, more information on this will be released soon.”

The biological mutant has been in use for a long time: it was originally announced on gamecom in 2017, and the developer hinted that it was in the final stages of development in 2019, and then finally showed proper gameplay in June 2020.
The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on May 25th.
