Cubone is one of the most tender Pokémon there is, and also, it has one of the saddest stories in the Pokémon world. If there is something this little creature has, it is the mystery that revolves around its true face. No one has ever seen Cubone without his bone mask.
In the DrLavaYT Twitter account, the user tells us the reality behind the filtered face of Cubone. Why yes, the Pokémon has a face, but it is not what many people believe.
Cubone's Face:
Some fans have been fooled into thinking this Cubone face-reveal is legit. You might have even seen it on bootleg Pokemon GO cards. But it's not legit – it's actually fan art.
However, the Japan-exclusive 1997 Carddass artwork showing a partial-reveal IS legit. pic.twitter.com/HEubLs1My9

It turns out that the face that appears on Pokémon GO cards It's not what Cubone looks like in real life. It is simply an illustration made by a fan, and although it is quite good, it does not represent the reality of the Pokémon.
On the other hand, we can see a card with a more washed color. Here you only see about a quarter of the face of the Pokémon, but this illustration does represent Cubone officially. It may not be much, but it is a higher face percentage than we are used to seeing in the Pokémon.
It's so much the love of the community for this little Pokémon that a user has even made a wood carving of Cubone's mask, and it's amazing. Say you want to discover more about the Pokémon world, here we have a list with the theory of all its evolutions.
