This is what Zelda Breath the Wild could look like on Nintendo Switch 2

Breath, Nintendo, Switch, Wild, Zelda

No more waiting for a 4K 60fps update for Nintendo Switch 2, the ultimate version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is here. Big N’s masterpiece like you’ve never seen it before.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which has sold more than 32 million copies, is a masterclass. A great adventure in an enchanting universe that shines through its artistic direction or its gameplay ideas that offer freedom and encourage experimentation. On a technical level, however, the Nintendo Switch does not perform miracles and suffers even more from Tears of the Kingdom. How about a little work and a little more power?

Zelda Breath of the Wild in a never-before-seen version

The Nintendo Switch 2 is said to offer 4K graphics, likely thanks to an upscaling solution like Nvidia’s DLSS. In addition, this time the Japanese manufacturer officially announced that the console would be backwards compatible with current games such as The Legend of the Zelda Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Will there be technical improvements automatically or via updates? This is a point the company didn’t address in its last review, but there are rumors of a The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Remastered in 4K 60fps.

True or not, you can forget about that hallway noise and the Nintendo Switch 2 since it doesn’t require the machine to play the ultimate version of BOTW. The Digital Dreams channel, known for beautifying PC games, does it again with an 8K 60fps edition of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This is what the game could look like on Switch 2… or almost. Although the specifications are not known, they obviously will not match those of the machine used for this remaster of Zelda Breath of the Wild. To run it at ultra settings and ray tracing, the Digital Dreams channel uses an Nvidia RTX 4090, a Ryzen 9 7950x processor and 32GB of 6000MHz RAM. Here is the video to distract you from that, although of course you should keep in mind that it is far from current games in certain points.
