It’s been four years since Elvis Yonathan Garrido, better known as Saikomic, published the manga Armados. Success was quick to knock on the creator’s door, as his creation was taken to the First place in the Tezuka Awardsa major Shone Jump manga magazine from the publishing house Shueisha. So much so that it surprised such prominent figures as Akira Toriyama and Eiichiro Oda, among others.
The manga Armed celebrates its fourth anniversary in the best possible way: announcing that it will have an anime series by 6ing Production and Maf Studios. This is incredible news worldwide, from Latin America (especially Chile, the creator’s hometown) to Japan itself, where the manga was highly valued.
We don’t have any information about the release date, number of episodes and other relevant data, but Maf Studios shared a teaser Just to make the news a little more exciting, the reception has been very positive from fans and it looks really promising even for those less versed in the world of anime and manga.
“The story’s protagonist is Estic, a young man who dreams of having adventures like his manga heroes. One day he will unleash the hidden powers of his yo-yo that will grant him incredible superpowers,” reads the official description.
