The Amiga 500 saw the light of day in 1987 and was a smashing success with a frankly well stocked toy library. Back then, the A500 really was the microcomputer to have if you wanted to enjoy the best titles of the moment.
Now here we are, a few decades later, with the new edition of the Amiga 500 coming out on April 8th, 2022 in a mini version. As the name suggests, the computer presents itself as a compact but fully functional version of the Amiga 500. The Amiga 500 Mini can be connected to any display with an HDMI connection (in 720p and 60 Hz, with the additional possibility of a “CTR ” use filters to simulate a display similar to what we could have with a CRT).
The Amiga 500 Mini even has an integrated keyboard, and if not, you have the option of connecting another one thanks to the USB port on the machine. You’ll also enjoy a mouse and controller like the good old days!
25 games are also preinstalled and you can also install other games from your USB stick. Note for nostalgics: The Amiga 500 Mini should not be missing and brings back some childhood memories.
