Microsoft has been announcing a number of homegrown games for several years now and we’ve been waiting for their release. From Obsidian to Playground Games, we waited to see more during the Xbox Games Showcase. And we were served!
The next obsidian is finally emerging from the shadows
The star of the night was obviously Starfield, who had the right almost an hour of presentation directly after the main show. We think this is THE big Xbox cartridge for 2023, although we still have to wait until September 6th. The highlight, apart from the fact that we are completely changing the perspective compared to RPGs in the isometric view, is that Avowed will take place in a unique island region called The Living Lands. We find there a probably varied bestiary, dazzling colors and, as it turns out in the trailer, lots of magic ! The guards, giant spiders, skeletons, and two-legged reptiles will obviously take their toll, and The narrator doesn’t hesitate to say that the character scares the residentswhether it’s because of the magic he can use or the way he fights.
In Avowed you will explore the Living Lands, a wild and corrupted island in the world of Eora. It is full of mysteries, mysteries, dangers and many adventures await you where you have to make decisions and live with the consequences. The Living Lands are a unique place in the world of Eora, home to bustling port cities and rolling hills adorned with strange and fantastical plants. Each part of the Living Lands hosts its own ecosystem. Gameplay that promises to be rich and exciting
This narrator is Kai, an Aumaua des Côtes. The developers tell us that it’s one of those rare friendly faces that you come across and that’s how it is Pragmatic idealism (a beautiful oxymoron) will be of great help to us throughout the adventure, just like the other companions we’ll meet along the way. We also see it in the video, but The player’s character will have many options to get rid of various threats.
From swords to axes to shields, Weapons and Spells, there will be plenty to do, especially since each hand can be equipped with an item or ability. So it’s all very nice But when will this Xbox exclusive release? After almost three years of mystery, we now know that Avowed will be coming to Xbox and PC during the year 2024, on a date to be determined. A first party game requires the game to be available as soon as it is released within the Xbox Game Pass !
