If you consider yourself a fan of fantasies, especially the kind written by the British working class who sadly left the world in a boat drifting into the sunset, this new Lord of the Rings Unreal Engine 5 concept trailer might just In front of your alley.
Created as a montage of fan-made Unreal Engine 5 projects, explicitly set in Tolkien’s saga world of orcs, elves, and hobbits, various famous and recognizable characters from the stories we know and love Attracted by the prospect. This includes the vibrant showers, the gate to Moria, and of course the Tower of Mordor.
Now, we’ve actually highlighted one of these montage concept trailers. YouTube channel Enfant Terrible often creates videos with a similar format and previously took us to Bloodborne, recreated in UE5. If nothing else, it goes a long way to spark your imagination. Also, it’s great to see community creatives working on a relatively new engine, especially in the universe we love.
Of course, the Unreal Engine 5 project goes way beyond these handy concept trailers! I’m still a big fan of the Mirror’s Edge Unreal Engine 5 project I created a while back. Maybe it’s because this franchise is more dead than dead, though it was a beacon in the otherwise somewhat dire output of EA at the time.
