The latest God of War Ragnarok snippets feature a strong reference to an old game in the saga. A gameplay action where Kratos plays well with his food.
God of War Ragnarok will unashamedly take inspiration from old games and we witnessed it in the latest gameplay video. Did you miss this part? Here it is !
God of War Ragnarok represents God of War 2
The last public appearance of God of War Ragnarok confirmed what our colleagues at Game Informer said. This episode goes way back and reintroduced some pretty brutal executions. Kratos grabs a Grim, a new type of enemy, then stabs him multiple times in the head with a Blade of Chaos before brutally throwing him to the ground. A movement almost copied and pasted to that of God of War 2. Players have been warned: Kratos “will (again) play with his food”
Given the description of the new combat system, we can say that it won’t be the only element borrowed from another God of War game. Even though its release is only scheduled for November 9, 2022 on PS5 and PS4, God of War Ragnarok is already dealing with leaks.
A new leak yet to be proven would have revealed a big boss. And thus certain keys to the scenario of this work. The leak would be from the future GOW Ragnarok artbook. So be careful while reading our article or surfing the web.
