The return journey is coming soon, and Housemarque showed off some of the hostile forces you will encounter on the planet Atropos.
Planet of Aropos Tru’s Have a variety of environments and have their own enemies. These include organic and parasitic organisms, and even corrupt entities.
There are also mechanical automata and more types of different enemies.
Each enemy has its own unique personality and unique identifiable attack method.
Some enemies will fire projectiles, while others will launch close-range attacks. One of them is Titanops, which you can see wearing arms made of tentacles in the video.
Most other creatures prefer to keep a certain distance. For example, in “Weedy Ruins,” Mycomorph focuses on shooting homing projectiles, sometimes teleporting to new locations to find better vantage points. It will also use a grenade-style attack to release a bunch of vines, thereby inhibiting your actions.
There is also a Gorgolith like a crab, which prefers to ambush.
To avoid being hit by the projectile, you will need to keep going. Fortunately, there are many vertical barrages that can help you resist projectile attacks. The use of Dash is also critical because it can be freely used as a navigation tool. It can also be used to quickly pass projectile attacks without taking damage.
In a third-person, rouge-like shooting game, the scenery is always changing, and every time you die, you will be defeated and forced to restart your journey. Since the world of programming changes every time you die, you need to carefully manage your equipment and resources.
Returnal will land on PS5 on April 30th.
