Gaming News This player is such a fan of this saga that she bought 4000 copies of the first game… even though they no longer work
We all know someone who has bought two or three copies of a game (usually on different platforms) because they liked a particular game so much. Recently, a player took the vice to the extreme by purchasing no less than 4,000 copies of the same game. And the worst part is that they don’t even work anymore.

If a fan buys 4000 copies of the same game
Collecting is a hobby that wastes a lot of money on things that not everyone necessarily understands. Whether it’s having all versions of a game or simply being able to enjoy it in different conditions, you may know someone who has bought a video game multiple times. However, A fan of Remedy games decided to set a new record by purchasing 4,000 copies of the Alan Wake game, originally released in 2010.
Real surprise of 2023, Alan Wake II has won over so many gamers and journalists that it has secured a place among the video games competing for the title of Game of the Year against giants like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or Baldur’s Gate III, the big winner. It must be said that all the qualities of the first episode have been brought to the peak to create an unforgettable experience that will probably remain in the memory of all players who touch it. With these two works, Remedy has created a mysterious and gripping story that has thrilled many fans, including Alisa. In an interview with PCGamesNshe explains her love for Alan Wake:
What I like most about Alan Wake and Remedy games in general is the way they tell a story and their attention to detail. The world of Alan Wake 2 feels real and there are so many hidden stories that many players will miss. A lot of this lore is just strange and charming. And Sam Lake is a genius.
Some time ago, this Alan Wake fan discovered an offer on eBay that quickly caught her eye. One seller actually offered to part ways two boxes full of Alan Wake download codes
A completely valid reason
Unfortunately, Remedy’s game download codes do not appear to have been activated by the store that must have originally received them. As a matter of fact, After trying about twenty codes, Alisa concluded that none of the codes worked. A detail that could have upset more than one, but that didn’t really stop this fan from enjoying her purchase. When asked why she bought these two boxes full of Alan Wake codes, the fan replied:
The shortest answer would be “It’s funny.” The longest answer is that I’m making a video inspired by the live action cinematics of Alan Wake 2 and when I saw the listing for 4000 copies of Alan Wake on eBay I imagined a scene that would be a A ridiculous number of them could tolerate these tricks. Once it’s finished I’ll probably cover a wall in my room with these cards because it looks fun. And then I just really like Alan Wake.
Ultimately, it is not uncommon to spend several hundred dollars or dollars on a collectible or item that we hold dear. So if we know that these 4000 copies will also be used to produce an Alan Wake-inspired fan film, it ends up being a little easier to understand this purchase. We hope Alisa will never regret her purchaseand that people who see her room’s wall covered in game codes won’t think she’s too crazy.
