Satr Wars Visions, the anthology series dedicated to the universe created by George Lucas, is preparing for a third season directed by big names in the Japanese animation industry.
A third volume confirms
Great news for Star Wars fans: the George Lucas universe is entitled to a new season of Star Wars Visions, the anthology series produced by various animation studios. The announcement was shared on the official website of the franchise. The series will air between 2021 and 2023 and has already had two seasons. The first was produced entirely by Japanese animation studios, the second this time by studios around the world. With this new season, Visions returns to its origins. These nine new episodes are therefore produced exclusively by Japanese studios. We find studios that have already worked on previous seasons, but also some new names that are working with Disney for the first time.
The best of the best
As in the previous two seasons, this third volume is also overseen by big names in the animation industry. So we find studios that have already worked on the series – Kamikaze Douga, Kinema Citrus Co., Production IG and TRIGGER – but also new collaborators, namely ANIMA (in co-production with Kamikaze Douga), David Production, Polygon Pictures, Project Studio Q and WIT Studio. Renowned studios that have worked on anime like Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Attack on Titan, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Haikyu!!, Ghost in the Shell and many others. Disney has something very good in store for Star Wars fans, who can discover these nine new episodes on Disney+ next year.
