Still Wakes the Deep, a highly anticipated horror game by adventure seekers, has finally received a release date. Plus, it doesn’t come from just any studio.
There are a lot of horror games on the independent scene. Unfortunately, not all of them are unforgettable gems. Sometimes we are simply dealing with a shocking experience, in short, it is not the dream. In general, it is difficult to find rare gems in this genre. Nevertheless, there is one particular production that has been attracting the attention of horror lovers for quite some time: Still awakens the depths. And that’s it, we have a release date. Soon.
“Still Wakes the Deep” gets a new trailer and a release date
This adventure of fear comes to us from the ovens of The Chinese Room Studio. The name may not ring a bell, but his creations certainly don’t. We owe him, for example, “Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs”, “Dear Esther” and “Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture”. As you can see, we are dealing with a real specialist in first-person experiences. And in a few months we will be able to do Still Wakes the Deep. More precisely, June 18, 2024.
Until now we didn’t know the release date. It was revealed during the Future Games Show and we’re excited that it will be available this year. We could have suspected it, but we prefer an official confirmation. As a reminder: Still Wakes the Deep is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The icing on the cake? First day availability on Xbox Game Pass. We can say that we are spoiled. As a bonus, we even have a new trailer that gives us a further look at the oil platform we will be trapped on. And it gives you goosebumps.
So what exactly can we expect in June? A horrific experience set off the coast of Scotland in the 1970s. We play a worker on an oil rig who, let’s be honest, isn’t having much luck. Due to a violent storm in the middle of the North Sea, it is actually stuck on site. So you have to find the remaining crew members, but there’s just one small problem. There is something else on board, and it obviously means harm to you. Will you take the plunge and throw yourself into hell?
