Warhammer 40k: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters – Tactics game preview video
Genre: Round Tactics | developer: Complex Games | Release: 5. May 2022
Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters not only has an incredibly long name, but also a lot to offer in terms of gameplay: As the leader of the Gray Knights, an elite special chapter of the Space Marines, you have to protect the galaxy from the children of the warp, cult followers and chaos demons .
The battles are very reminiscent of XCOM 2: You shoo your Space Marines across the battlefield in a turn-based manner and let them tear your enemies to pieces with effective melee attacks, psi attacks or hails of bullets from the bolter. Even more than in the genre leader XCOM 2, the environment should provide tactical possibilities, because you can, for example, tear down columns and let them fall on opponents.

Between the missions you go to the management part: Here you not only equip your Space Marines with skills, talents, weapons and armor. You also expand your battleship, which serves as a base of operations so that research and equipment manufacturing can run at full speed.
In our brand new report, we explain why so many people are so fascinated by the dark Warhammer 40k universe:
