The studio is comprised of veteran game developers, who have worked on the likes of the Mafia franchise, the ArmA: Armed Assault franchise, as well as Silent Hill: Downpour and the UFO trilogy to name a few.
Ashborne Games studio directory Karel Kalis shared in a press release that their “focus and passion lie in strategy and RPG games”. He also went on to explain “Our goal as a team is to create an authentic gaming experience with sophisticated systems that encourage repeated playthroughs. We believe that’s something that’s really missing on the market.”
The currently has a team of 38 members and will continue to expand, with open positions now listed on both the careers website and LinkedIn.
So far there are no details on a release window or platforms the game will be released on, but it sounds like the development is just getting started. Either way it’s exciting news to hear a new IP is in the works, with the studio’s main objective being RPG based.
