The THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2024 was broadcast last night – including new announcements such as Darksiders or Wreckfest 2, as well as gameplay for the Gothic remake. Here we summarize all the information and trailers for you.
Yesterday evening, THQ Nordic broadcast its Digital Showcase 2024 and showed new gameplay for upcoming, already well-known titles such as Titan Quest II or the Gothic remake. There were also a few new announcements, most notably a new Darksiders, the racing sequel Wreckfest 2 and a new title from the makers of Little Nightmares. Below we give you an overview of all the trailers and announcements shown.
The Eternal Life of Goldman
Weappy Studio, the makers of This Is The Police and Rebel Cops, have announced their latest game called The Eternal Life of Goldman. The platform adventure is a completely new brand in which you explore a sprawling and entirely hand-drawn archipelago in a frame-by-frame animation style. The story is inspired by ancient fables. The release is scheduled for PC, Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but there is no date yet.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed
The new edition of the 3D platformer had already received a specific release date of September 24, 2024 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC; at the showcase, a new trailer was shown to get you in the mood.
Wreckfest 2
The next relevant new announcement: The destructive racer Wreckfest will be continued with a second part on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. Thanks to a new physics engine, the title aims to provide an even more realistic simulation of collisions and plenty of destruction. Many race tracks, customizable vehicles and action-packed chaos are other features of the destructive racer. There is no release date yet.
Titan Quest II
The sequel to the action role-playing game had the honor of premiering its gameplay, which you can watch in video form below. The title for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S still has no release date.
Gothic Remake
The long-awaited gameplay premiere also took place for the new edition of the RPG classic Gothic based on the Unreal Engine 5. The video takes you into the story, introduces combat and magic as well as the game world – and also wants fans to discover some hidden details. This title for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S also has no release date for the time being.
Way of the Hunter
On the occasion of the showcase, the new DLC “Lintukoto Reserve” was released for Way of the Hunter; you can find the corresponding trailer attached.
New game from Tarsier Studios
The developers of Little Nightmares I and II, Tarsier Studios, want to implement “a completely new vision” in their new project. What exactly this is has not yet been made public, as only a teaser has been shown for the time being. The detailed presentation of the game is to take place as part of the gamescom Opening Night Live on August 20, 2024.
Darksiders
The apocalyptic action series Darksiders is officially being continued with a new part. Here, too, only a teaser was shown initially, but it did not reveal too many details. As far as platforms are concerned, only the PS5 has been confirmed – but we will of course keep you updated on this!
