New weekend, new Steam deal. In addition to three productions that you can try for free for a few days, there are three free games that you can pick up and keep for life.
Every weekend, Steam gives you the opportunity to test games for free. An initiative that allows you to try the titles in question without a concession, with all the content and free updates, but only for a few days. After this period, you will be charged again. So this week three of those games are available, with a clear focus on multiplayer experiences. However, publishers do offer genuine free games on Steam from time to time that you keep for life. And there, too, it is a trio that can be relaxed for a few days.
Three free games on Steam
Since the Epic Games Store doesn’t have a monopoly on free PC games, Steam sometimes offers some nice freebies as well. If it doesn’t just allow you to fully test games over a long weekend, from time to time the platform offers to restore some productions for free. However, note that there may not be enough time for everyone. The title is indeed available while supplies last, it would be silly to miss out. Released in 2016, Hue is an award-winning puzzle platformer. Your goal is simple: change the world by turning its dim and dangerous gray into color. A quite imaginative title for the time, whose puzzles and riddles earned it a good 9/10 on Steam based on more than 2000 very positive user reviews.
Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War
A powerful and iconic franchise, Warhammer has been in the news recently with Space Marine 2 and Speed Freeks. Two fundamentally different projects, but the developers had kept a nice end-of-the-week gift. Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War is available for free on Steam until then 1Is June at 7 p.m., French time. Again, stock is limited, so we can’t advise you enough to add it to your library quickly. This free Steam game immerses you in a world of horror and violence, all under the prism of 4X turn-based. Among other things, they can embody one of four factions, each with their own playstyle and unique technologies to vary gameplay. A title much appreciated by its community, which thanks to its particularly neat atmosphere and strategic dimension, has almost 5,500 very positive ratings on Steam.
TGV Voyages train simulator
We won’t lie to each other, this is the least brilliant of this selection. Between strikes and delays, you’re not sure if you want to dive into a simulation of the SNCF. TGV Voyages train simulator is available for free on Steam until then June 2 at 7:00 p.m, French time. A production primarily aimed at fans of the genre who want to try this version without some key features. No career mode, no in-game store, no access to the Steam Workshop, you have to checkout again with an upgrade to the full version. Given the average user ratings, we’d even be tempted to tell you to go your own way.
