It's been a year since Palworld launched into Early Access, and today it unveiled a roadmap showing plans for future updates.

Sorry, it’s been a year since Palworld launched? Holy mackerel, it went by quickly. The gun-toting Pokemon game clearly isn't generating as much buzz as it did when it first launched, but it's been releasing updates consistently. It's obviously hit some roadblocks recently with the Pokemon Company/Nintendo lawsuit, but hey, that's not stopping it from adding more content to the game! On the game's official Twitter account, a future roadmap for some updates currently planned for the game was revealed, including some features that fans have been clamoring for.

First off, in terms of major updates, co-op cross-play will be coming to the game at some point, as well as world-shifting options for your friends. A final boss and ending scene will also appear at some point, along with more ways to strengthen and improve your companions. There will also be more companions added, some tech, and most interestingly, gaming collaborations, plural, which means Terraria isn't the only one it announced last year. Of course, there are more improvements to come in terms of base companions, user experience, world object placement, and overall user experience.

You may be asking now, “When will all this come to the game?” To which all I can say is, no idea! The roadmap is very much just a “this is what we're working on” list, so you'll understand it when you get it. Palworld is running its first ever global popularity poll, so you can vote for whichever Pal you think is the best – I'd bet on the Totoro-looking guy who always has a Gatling gun.
