One of the most successful horror franchises, despite some setbacks, continues to generate a considerable amount of money almost 20 years after its first installment: Saw. The saga created by James Wan has offered spooky moments in each of its films and has put numerous actors in extreme situations. However, there is one character who remains the king of this macabre game: John Kramer.

Although his death occurred in the third installment, Kramer has continued to appear in the various films that have been released over the past few decades. And, as expected, the next installment of the franchise will once again feature him as the protagonist. This has been confirmed Tobin Bellthe actor who plays this iconic villain, in an interview with Los Angeles Times.

I enter the dark world of the Va'ruun: anomalies, mystery and backstabbing. This has been my first hours in Starfield: Broken Space

“I’m very excited to continue developing the character,” said Bell. “John Kramer hasn’t said goodbye yet. There’s still a lot to discover.” Bell has played Kramer for more than two decades and, from his words, it seems that he will continue to be the master of bloody puzzles for a while longer.

Furthermore, these words suggest that this new installment will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, Saw Xwhich will continue with a story focused on the murderer and set several years before the character’s death. Saw XI will hit theaters around the world on September 26, 2025.
