This is the action of “The Accountant”:
Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a brilliant mathematician with a special gift: numbers are his world, but social interactions are a challenge. However, there is a dangerous truth behind his work as an inconspicuous accountant – he does orders for some of the most powerful criminal organizations in the world.
When he discovers discrepancies in the data for an apparently legal company, he is targeted by unscrupulous killers and the Ministry of Finance. While the threat is getting closer, Wolff has to demonstrate his deadly skill – and reveal a dark secret from his past.
The reception of the action thriller
The Accountant received Rotten Tomatoes Mixed reviews: 52% of critics, but decent 76% of the audience – for more than 25,000 reviews – awarded a positive assessment. Many praised the film as one of the coolest action thrillers in recent years with intensive scenes and extraordinary characters.
