Slowly there are not many events left that have not yet been canceled. After the recent cancellation of the Paris Games Week, the Tokyo Game Show has also been hit. At least in physical form.
The event, which is one of the largest game fairs, was of course canceled due to the corona crisis and the currently unpredictable situation in Japan, as could hardly be expected. The Tokyo Game Show joins the illustrious round, which also includes Paris Games Week, E3, GDC and gamescom.

After all, the Tokyo Game Show, which would normally have taken place from September 24th to 27th, is not entirely lost to us. The plans are to host the Tokyo Game Show as an online event, in whatever form.
All in all a shame, because this year's TGS would certainly have been extremely exciting due to the upcoming releases of the new consoles. Sony in particular has repeatedly made great announcements or presentations during the TGS in recent years. We are excited to see what concept the organizers will now use to set up the digital TGS.
