For Ubisoft, the tactical shooter Rainbow Six turned out to be victories as surprisingly successful and persistent, after all, the title released in 2015 still gambles countless players. Nevertheless, large parts of the original development team are now devoting themselves to a new project.

Even if Rainbow Six: Siege should continue to be supplied with fresh content, it is now time for the development team to devote itself to new tasks. As Ubisoft now confirmed, a number of the original team's employees have now been removed to take on other projects within the company.
This has now been confirmed in a newly released video by Ubisoft, in which Xavier Marquis, Alexandre Remy and other members of the original team have expressed their consent to no longer dealing with Rainbow Six: Siege in the future. The further development of the tactical shooter is to be overseen by a new, smaller team that has been instructed accordingly. "The new core team is great. It is made up of veterans who have been working on victories for a long time," says Remy.
Marquis and Remy are now working on new tasks with other team members, but there is as yet no concrete announcement as to what the new creative leads project is about. Rather, the video message focused on the fact that Rainbow Six: Siege was no longer dependent on former staff in the form it was once. So fans of the tactical shooter should primarily be reassured that this is still in good hands and should accordingly continue to be supplied with content.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege is available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Recently the new DLC "Operation Shifting Tides" with new protagonists was released for the game.
