Ubisoft has announced the next season of the long-standing and successful tactical shooter Rainbow Six: Siege. With Thorn, there is also a new operator on board.
“High Caliber” is the name of the fourth and last season of Year 6 of the tactical shooter Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. With the fresh season, Ubisoft will introduce a new operator, but there are other innovations.
The new operator Thorn comes from Ireland and is equipped with Razorbloom grenades; These are throwable gadgets with proximity alarms that explode after a short time when triggered. Anyone who does not leave the effective radius in time will suffer considerable damage from this explosion. With the UZK50Gi, the defender also gets a brand new weapon. This or the M870 can be selected as the primary weapon, while the secondary weapon can be chosen between 1911 TACOPS and C75-AUTO.
In addition to the new operator, you can look forward to a revision of Outbackk in the new season. The main building and the outside area were modified to allow the attackers more creative attack strategies. New destructible outer walls have also been added, and some areas have been refurnished and rearranged to allow for improved lines of sight.
Further changes in “High Caliber” according to official information:
-
Choice of team colors between blue, orange and red
-
Balancing updates (Finka, Echo and Mozzie’s drones, new bulletproof cameras, new rules for cameras that are placed outdoors)
