The Rainbow Six Siege development team is undergoing major changes.
Core development team Rainbow Six: Siege Ubisoft announced that it will continue to focus on other projects. Longtime creative director Xavier Marquis and brand director Alexandre Remy are leading some members of the Siege team on a new adventure.
Marquis and Remy have been their spokespersons since the siege, and they helped us show our original vision and turned the game into an amazing success today. Most of the game's development team has remained the same, and game director Leroy Athanassoff continues to lead their work.
The senior leader did not hint at what they were planning to do next, but said that he no longer needed to exist for the team to succeed.
Marquis said, "There was a time when the game relied heavily on us." "But now the game has more content. This is an area where there are games and their communities."
Athanassoff added that the new core team is expanding the field of gaming and is committed to building "inclusive" content and features that benefit all players.
"We said before and then again: Rainbow Six Siege will continue," said Craig Robinson, a senior community developer.
Leroy and the new core team have learned a lot from Alex, Xavier and others. Leroy had a vision for the future of Rainbow Six: Siege, and everyone in the studio was excited about it. "
It will be interesting to see what the team is doing next.
