Anyone who thought that Ubisoft's tactical shooter Rainbow Six: Siege would slowly but surely begin to weaken after all these years would be disappointed, because the title is currently more successful than ever.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege was published in 2015 and has been continuously supplied with fresh content by Ubisoft since then. That pays off, because the number of players does not decrease after four years – but is now even higher than ever.
A corresponding user record can now be established, at least on Steam. At the weekend, a new record was achieved with 180,463 players – so many players had never before played Rainbow Six: Siege on Valve's platform.
The number of players is impressive in itself after all these years, but this feeling increases even more when you realize that most PC gamers are not in the game via Steam, but directly via Ubisoft's own PC platform Uplay direct. On Steam, however, the number of players has continued to grow since November last year, with monthly growth of between 1 and 20 percent.
Ubisoft had recently launched the fifth year of content with new content; A sixth year is already planned, but will receive fewer new characters than before. In addition, with continued success, there will also be new versions of the game for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
