"Operation Shifting Tides" is the fourth DLC and heralds the final season in Year 4 of the successful tactical shooter Rainbow Six: Siege. The good piece can now be purchased on the platforms Xbox One, PC and PS4 and is also included in Ubisoft subscription service Uplay +.
As usual, this DLC brings you two new operators, namely Kali from India and Wamai from Kenya. In addition, the theme park map has been completely redesigned to enhance playability, aesthetics and more.
Anyone who has purchased the Year 4 Pass can take off directly with the two new operators. All other gamers can unlock them with R6 Credits or Reputation starting December 10th. The additional revisions and content are available to all for free.
The two new characters are officially described as follows:
- Kali is the new attacker from India. Equipped with the CSRX 300, a sniper rifle that can bang barricades and hatches, leaving massive craters in destructible walls. Your gadget, the KS Sprenglanze, is attached to the gun's lower barrel and can be used with the CSRX 300 riflescope at the same time. It can also break barricades and hatches, but most of all, it can destroy all gadgets on both sides of fragile and reinforced surfaces.
- Wamai, the new defender from Kenya, can set up the Mag-Net system: a device to throw that sticks to surfaces and attracts the opponent's projectiles before it destroys itself to detonate the projectile. Wamai Not only can it make the projectiles of the attackers useless, but they can also be used against them with a good strategic placement.
Other changes in the course of today's update:
- Changes in Limb Punches
- The descent exit now requires a command prompt.
- The prices for Hibana, Echo, Dokkaebi, Vigil, Zofia, Kaid and Nomad have been lowered.
New skins have also been added: The Capitão Elite Set emulates the era of his life, where he still operated in the favela. In addition, there is the ship wave skin, inspired by the Kenyan Navy, as well as the Palace Virtue Skin, inspired by Indian architecture. Both celebrate the new operator and are available for purchase during the season.
