Already in June last year, Ubisoft confirmed that the action role-playing game Tom Clancy's The Division 2 should also come to Google's new streaming platform, namely Stadia. Since then, this implementation has become quiet and a specific appointment has been pending for a long time. This has finally been announced.
Accordingly, The Division 2 will hit Stadia in the current month, namely on March 17, 2020. Appropriately, there will also be the current expansion "Warlords of New York" for the service. The Stadia implementation also offers some new features that have never existed before for the title.
It has now become public that this game version also offers cross-play with the regular PC version, right from the start. A corresponding feature was leaked via a leak in the game menu on the PC. This is good news for Stadia players, because it should also ensure that there are enough players on the servers when the community is shared with the PC. After all, Stadia is far less common on its own.
Not only is cross-play supported, there is also cross-progression support. Translated means: PC and Stadia version share the game progress, provided you link your Stadia with your Uplay account. Those who use both versions also benefit particularly.
