After a DPS glitch made the round in The Division 2, allowing players to deal significantly more damage than planned, Ubisoft has now taken action.

Due to a bug, it was apparently possible to unduly increase the damage dealt in The Division 2, both in PvE and PvP of the game. Ubisoft is now punishing the players who have exploited this bug and is not only receiving applause.
"The use of this exploit negatively impacted the in-game economy and in-game leaderboards, was very harmful in PvP, and negatively impacted the gaming experience for many," said Ubisoft. Affected players will be banned for a week, and their scores will be reset to March 17th. In addition, glitch users receive a flag that if there is a further misconduct, there will be a permanent ban.
Unfortunately, it also hit some players who did not take advantage of this glitch, which is currently causing a lot of discussion. In addition, not everyone agrees that players will be punished for exploiting a bug on the part of the developers, especially since Ubisoft Massive was only able to fix the problem after several fixes. Some players even report that there is now another way to massively increase the damage.
Seems like Ubisoft will not come to rest for a while despite the successful start of the season alongside DLC Warlords of New York.
