As part of the Ubisoft Forward, the publisher again showed new material for the upcoming free-to-play offshoot The Division: Heartland.

The Division: Heartland, a survival-action multiplayer shooter set in the Division universe in a small town in America, will be available in 2022/2023 as a free-to-play title for PC, consoles and cloud.

The free-to-play standalone The Division game introduces new playable characters in a rural setting far removed from the events of New York and Washington DC Silver Creek was once a tranquil town in the American Midwest, but after the spread of the dollar flu was in shambles.

You take on the role of loyal agents of The Division from across the country responding to a call for help. Fighting alongside and against other trained agents, you will uncover the mysteries of Silver Creek and bring hope to what remains of small town America.

Development is being led by Red Storm, a veteran team that has been working on the brand since the first The Division game. The developers want to produce the game closely with the community and conduct several test phases, for which you can register now at thedivisiongame.com.
