The filming locations in Scandinavia are likely to take up the Siberian mountains and the legendary city of Kitezh from Rise of the Tomb Raider, but it is still unclear where the South American locations from Shadow of the Tomb Raider will be shot.
The film sequel is due to be released in cinemas on March 21, 2021 and is reportedly expected to focus on some supernatural elements of the games. Alicia Vikander will appear again in the lead role of Lara Croft, but this time the directorial work will not be done by Roar Uthuag (as last), but by Ben Wheatley.
