Lovely Rod, and the GM of everything Diablo Blizzard’s Rod Fergusson is back with another cheeky tease of his own on Twitter.
While these corporate teases don’t always pay off in meaningful ways, the last time Ferguson did so got us a server slam for Diablo 4 – a limited surprise test for players all over the world One last chance to play the game before launch.
Ferguson had earlier jokingly accused Diablo’s global marketing director Daniela Rodriguez on Twitter of failing to tell him that some sort of tease had been moved to tomorrow instead of today as originally planned.
Hey @BaconFaded Why didn’t you tell me that the teasing was moved to first thing tomorrow? I’m embarrassed, but I’m relieved that my fault was between the two of us. Cya first thing in the morning!

Apparently, Ferguson didn’t even hint at what it might be, but given the imminent release of Diablo 4, we’re guessing it has something to do with it. However, it’s unlikely it’s something drastic, like an early server opening or some sort of previously unannounced early reward.
Still, we’d expect that to be a big deal, given Ferguson’s usual delivery of his teasers. If you missed it, read Connor’s full thoughts in our Diablo 4 review.
