With 2013, video game fans experienced a year of change. Sony and Microsoft both celebrated the brand new console generation in November, but the highlights were still played on the well-known consoles in a playful way: Both the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360 and Nintendo's 3DS handheld fired from all tubes. And even the PC had some highlights in its luggage!
10th place: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
After the series with Revelations and Assassin's Creed III had started to roll, with Part 4, Black Flag, it straightened up again. And what that was! A game world has never been bigger or more beautiful, the number of activities has never been more varied and the adventure more pompous. Nothing less than the whole Caribbean was at your disposal as a playground, the mixture of sneaking, action and exploration motivated for many, many hours, and the sea battles are still a force today. If you want to experience it again: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag has just appeared as part of the Rebel Collection on Nintendo Switch.
